We are still here after checkout.
Products sold by The Bathroom Society are supplied with the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty for that product. Warranty periods and conditions vary by brand, product type and application, so always refer to the warranty information on the product page or the manufacturer’s current warranty document.
You can contact the manufacturer directly where appropriate, or come back to us and we will help coordinate the claim. For consumer guarantee issues, you are entitled to deal with the retailer — you should not be forced to manage the matter with the manufacturer on your own.
Before installation
-
Confirm the product code/model, finish, dimensions, quantity and configuration against your order.
-
Check all parts, accessories and instructions are present.
-
Inspect for visible damage or manufacturing defects.
-
Confirm compatibility with your plumbing, electrical, gas, cabinetry or installation requirements.
-
Do not install a product that appears damaged, incorrect or unsuitable. Contact us first.
Installation and care
Manufacturer warranties can include conditions relating to licensed installation, water pressure, electrical or gas connection, cleaning products, maintenance, sealants, ventilation and intended use. Follow the installation and care instructions supplied with the product and use appropriately licensed trades where required.
A manufacturer may decline a contractual warranty claim where its warranty conditions were not followed. This is separate from any consumer guarantees that may still apply under the Australian Consumer Law.
How to lodge a warranty / after-sales request
-
Complete the Warranty & After-Sales form or contact Customer Care.
-
Provide your order number and contact details.
-
Describe the issue and when it first appeared.
-
Upload clear photos of the complete product, the issue, packaging/labels where relevant and a video if movement, noise or operation needs to be shown.
-
Provide installer details, licence information or a technical report if the issue requires it.
-
We will review the information, liaise with the supplier/manufacturer where appropriate and confirm the next step.
What happens next?
The appropriate remedy depends on the nature of the issue, the product, the manufacturer assessment and your rights under law. Outcomes can include technical guidance, replacement parts, repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.
Australian Consumer Law
Manufacturer warranties are additional promises and do not replace the consumer guarantees that apply automatically under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, consumer rights can continue after a written warranty period has ended.
